Clash of Trades
Overview
Clash of Trades is a nationally recognized workforce media series designed to showcase the
manufacturing industry while elevating skilled trades and connecting industry, education, and
workforce initiatives. I led communications, stakeholder coordination, and national alignment across
media production and partner organizations, while managing onsite coordination for the competitions.
What I Led
National communications strategy and messaging alignment. Partnership for distribution methods.
Digital campaigns on multiple platforms. Coordination between production teams, sponsors, and
workforce partners. Multi-location logistics and stakeholder management. Brand positioning and
audience engagement.

Overview
A district-wide campaign designed to increase awareness, visibility, and foot traffic across downtown
businesses during a major multi-day event, 50 Cent's Humor and Harmony.
What I Led
Development of a multi-level campaign. Campaign strategy, messaging, and execution. Coordination with
downtown businesses and stakeholders. Content development and digital promotion. Alignment with a
high-traffic community event.
Key Aspects
Launched alongside a large-scale, multi-day downtown event. Focused on promoting small and local
businesses. Multi-channel campaign driving both digital and in-person engagement. Designed to capture
and direct event-driven foot traffic.

Increased social media engagement by over 80%. Boosted website traffic by approximately
200%. Drove foot traffic to businesses during a three-day event attended by thousands. Increased

Welding Wars
Overview
Welding Wars was a pre-existing welding competition. We were brought in to elevate and expand the
competition. The event is designed to bring together student competitors, industry partners, and
educators. The event combined competition, workforce outreach, and media production to create both
immediate engagement and long-term visibility for skilled trades careers.
What I Led
Communications strategy and event positioning. Coordination between the college, industry partners,
and production teams. Integration of workforce outreach into the competition experience. Oversight of
promotional content development and filming. On-site coordination and support.
Key Aspects
Multi-competition format attracting participants from across regions. Instructor training component
that received strong feedback and engagement. Collaboration between college film students and a
professional production team. Mentorship model where a seasoned director guided students through
filming and interviews. Wraparound workforce event connecting students directly with employers.

Outcomes
Attracted competitors traveling from multiple regions, increasing event reach and
visibility. A national instructor and teacher trainer delivered a well-received and highly reviewed
instructor training that strengthened educator engagement. Created a hands-on learning experience for
film students through real-world production work. Produced promotional content to extend the life and
reach of the event. Connected student competitors and attendees directly with employers and career
opportunities.
